What is a bona-fide referral

A bona-fide referral is when the person being referred actually wants the service - and you've actively passed along full contact information for both parties. Handing someone a business card doesn't count. A real introduction does.

What a typical meeting looks like

No long lectures. No awkward icebreakers. Just a proven format that helps local professionals learn each other's businesses, build trust, and pass real referrals.

  • Show up, grab a coffee and a donut, and start making connections before the meeting officially begins. This is where real relationships get built.

  • We welcome visitors, introduce the leadership team, and get the group aligned for the morning.

  • Each member gives a quick overview of their business so the group knows exactly who to refer and when.

  • One member goes deeper on their services, expertise, and ideal client so the group can make smarter, more confident referrals.

  • The group collaborates on who we know that would be a great fit for open categories. Growing the table is a team effort.

  • Members share referral wins and success stories. Announcements for the week ahead, including next week's speaker.
